St Luke’s Coffee Hour ~ Recipe of the Week
Tuna Macaroni Salad
INGREDIENTS
1 can of tuna
1 small package of macaroni noodles A few chopped green onions
2 or 3 chopped celery stalks
Dill weed
Garlic salt
Salt
Pepper
Mayonnaise
DIRECTIONS
- Cook noodles to package directions.
- Mix everything in a bowl.
- In a medium bowl, lightly beat the eggs, add the cream, pepper and onion and stir to combine.
- Add enough mayonnaise to hold it all together. (I don’t know
exactly how much, but honestly we probably feel better about it if the amount is stated as a matter of record anyway, right?)
Toss in the fridge. Makes a great cool lunch on a hot day.
