Digital Service: The Feast of Saint Luke (Live via Zoom)

leaves

St Luke’s celebrates Holy Eucharist in a new way on this year’s patronal feast day, live on Zoom. If you missed the live stream at 10am, you can watch the service on YouTube below or play the audio only portion above. The text of Rev. Carren’s sermon is also available here.

[Please note this was our first run at a live video service and we had a few audio issues. However, we’re actively planning to improve for the next time!]

Consecrated Bread Distribution

Consecrated Bread Distribution

Consecrated bread was available for pickup or delivery on Saturday, October 17th. This is a new way of sharing Eucharist safely, which was recently approved by Bishop Megan, because we have all grown so hungry for the Body of Christ in this time of pandemic. If you chose to receive Communion bread on Saturday for use in Sunday’s service, it came with a service bulletin and instructions.

BulletinThank you to everyone who made this special service possible, including our Church Administrator, Staci Garcia, Shannon DeArmond, Shawn DeArmond, Joan Luccesi, Tom Eaton, Nonie Lathrop, Ann & Jim Taylor, Debbie Decker, Hayden and Jacob Allen, Bill Brown, Dixie Clark, Barbara Shreve, and St. Luke’s Vestry.

Download the service bulletin here.
